We got a range hood for our outside grill it took time to install because my husband built a wood box to attach it to our roof.it works great because now when we use the grill all the smoke doesn’t stay in the area and we are able to eat sitting around the grill. Don't buy this product. I made a mistake buying this product with zero reviews as my experience with Wayfair has been great so far. I assumed Wayfair wouldn't put cheap and low quality product on their website. Within 2 weeks of installation, the product LED light has started malfunctioning and now blinking with incorrect number 24x7 even when the insert if powered off. I did buy protection plan for the insert, however uninstalling this in custom hood and redoing the hood would cost me $1000 - $1200. At this point, I have no idea what to do. It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right. We had 2 of these installed. The control panel became unattached on the first one and Wayfair sent us another range hood. I thought the first hood was pretty loud, but did an ok (just ok) job sucking smoke from the kitchen. But with the second hood, the installer noticed that the intake piece that is supposed to open when the hood was on has only half opening, which was causing the hood to be very loud.
