Buyers beware— the photos are very deceiving. We ordered this crib with high hopes based on product description, photos and the reviews left. The pictures show a solid color and list the color as “beige.” No where in the photos nor the item description does it indicate a brushed, antiqued or rustic paint job/finish. When the item was delivered to us (after being no more than 40 minutes from my house for days) we opened the box to find a horrendous paint finish. We can not tell and Wayfair was unable to tell us if the crib we received was defective or if this is how it was intended to look but it’s horrible. There are huge, pitch black streaks all over the crib. It doesn’t look “brushed” (even though, again, it doesn’t indicate a brushed finished), it looks like it fell of the back of a truck.
We are lucky that Wayfair has great customer service but we are not one month closer to our due date with no crib. Because they could not indicate that if they sent the same crib again if it would look like this or have a solid finish, we declined to get sent the same crib. Please do not be fooled by these pretty stock photos!
