WARNING - CHECK EXACT MEASUREMENTS BEFORE BUYING. I bought this for my son’s crib - it’s the Sheldon model from Child Craft. This toddler rail is too long and does not fit the crib. I thought maybe taking the side pieces of the rail off it could work, but of course the holes don’t match up with them off….so now I’m paying 16 in shipping to send it back. Very frustrating.

Writing this review 4 years after purchase. Really pleased with this bed rail’s durability. We used it when our daughter graduated from crib to toddler bed. As she grew she often used the rail as if it’s a gymnastics equipment—holding herself up with her hands on both sides of the rail and swinging through the opening. No damage, no dings, and the paint never chipped off.

I purchased a convertible crib for my son from buybuy baby in 2019, I did not purchase the toddler guard rail at that time. A few months ago, my son was ready to switch to a toddler bed but the railing that goes with our crib is on back order for six months, not to mention 2x as much !! I took a chance ordering this one and with a few easy modifications it works great with our crib.  I also cant believe how well the color matches, it really looks like they belong together. The wood railing looks so much nicer and much is sturdier then the plasticfabric rail option. Overall super happy with the purchase and my son loves his bed! Thank you. 

Easily attached to our Sheldon crib. Even though the pieces are two years apart in age, the colors match well.

Shipped in great condition, however you must have your original crib parts (rail extenders) to attach. Directions are far from what needed to be done!
