The conversion kit was fairly simple to assemble, and rails are nice. But the kit doesn't include any sort of panels, slats, or foundation to hold up the mattress. You have to buy some other part to actually use the bed as a bed.

Got this for my daughter so she could turn the lil mans crib into a toddler twin bed. It works great Im extatic..
