Insert the Tension Knobs into the outer frame, and turn to tighten the tension knobs until it is fitted evenly and securely into place. Can be used at the top of stairs using the included hardware mounts for added security. It fits areas 29.5 to 36.5" inches wide and, with the purchase of additional extensions (sold separately), can accommodate spaces up to 54 inches.
