We purchased this bed for our 8 year old daughter, but is far from looking like a childs bed. This is a beautiful piece of furniture that is very solid. We went from a cheap converted crib turned full bed to this, and it is quite the difference. It was very easy to put together. I was able to do most myself, but needed an extra hand with the bed rails. Extremely worth the price.
