We've only been using this set for a week, so my review is mostly based on initial quality and ease of assembly. Overall, the set looks really cute. All components are solid wood. The finish is nice. As expected, the wood is a bit soft. Was disappointed that the dressers were two slightly different heights (see photo). While they both still fit under the bed, when you arrange them side-by-side you can see the difference. The assembly instructions for the main components of the bed (headboard, footboard and slats) as well as the dressers were pretty clear. However, the instructions for the loft components and the ladder were very vague, and did not specify the hardware for all components (see photos). We used process of elimination, but that didn't make me feel super confident when assembling the portions that elevate the whole darn thing (!). Everything felt sturdy once it was all together. There were a few things I noticed during assembly that may be helpful for others: 1) Treat yourself to a ratcheting hex wrench and screwdriver. If you try to use the cheapo hex key they provide, you will be ready to murder someone by the time you're done. 2) When assembling the drawers, it is easy for them to get out-of-square. I found it easiest to put in all 8 screws part way to get everything lined up (see photo), then tighten in an alternating pattern (like you would a tire). 3) When I attached the slides/rails to the bottoms of the drawer, the wood split on the first drawer. I used a small drill bit to make a pilot hole on the remaining drawers (see photo), and that seemed to do the trick. 4) The drawer pulls are a bit plain. The hole in the drawer keeps them nice and snug, but would limit how you could configure a replacement pull (see photo). 5) If assembling on a hard surface floor, you definitely want to use a blanket when building the drawers. The drawer face will scuff.

Perfect for our son. The assembly was a bit challenged, as the holes did not line up properly.

Nice bed but two pieces were slightly damaged. We were able to hide the damaged parts so not too bad. The dresser and Chest feel a little flimsy but hopefully will hold up. The bed seems sturdy but a little difficult to put together.

Love it! It is sturdy quality. I climb up for bedtime stories. The drawers have organized my daughters room so nicely! There is extra room behind the ladder/ dressers for storing stuff too! My husband complained a bit about putting it together but I think he agrees it is worth it!
