This bed is very wobbly built as is. Stairs are steep and very narrow. With only one support down middle under the slats it sagged and seemed without much effort would break. We kept the bed and put three more braces across the back and three more braces on the side opposite the stairs. We put two more braces end to end under the slats and then put a 14” piece of plywood on top of the slats. All of this has helped with stabilization and making bed sturdier. I wouldn’t recommend buying this bed. Update, we have tried to stabilize this bed, but can't get it to be completely stable, so are trashing it! Can't be more disappointed with this product.

Definitely lacking in quality. I don't see this bed lasting. We will definitely have to a buy a new one again soon.

We love the loft but the directions could have been more specific during each step. We had to continually to loosen what we’d just assembled, continue to the next step, and then tighten the screws again. It was a lot of two steps forward, one step back. The final product was worth it and we’re quite happy now that the assembly is done!

The bed is a little bit wobbly but we are going to bolt it to the wall for extra support and I think that will make me feel a little less stressed. My 7 year old loves his new bed. We paid to have it put together but after a few technical difficulties we ended up building it ourselves. My 18 year old actually put it together with no help. Directions are easy to follow.
