I rarely write reviews, but after spending an entire weekend assembling this loft bed, I feel obligated to help the next parent avoid the same mistake. First, the condition out of the box was disappointing. Multiple pieces arrived damaged — not cosmetic dents (though there were plenty of those too), but structurally compromised panels, including door pieces that were clearly broken before assembly even began. Several edges already had the finish chipping off straight from the packaging. The material quality is… questionable. The panels are essentially compressed sawdust with a thin veneer, and that veneer flakes easily during normal assembly. You have to handle every piece like glass just to avoid further damage — not exactly reassuring for furniture meant to hold a child and survive daily use. The design choices are equally frustrating. The desktop — a surface that should obviously be smooth — has bolts intentionally protruding upward as part of the design, which makes it feel unfinished and impractical. On top of that, the metal L-brackets used to hold major sections together are fully visible, giving the whole structure a temporary, DIY look rather than finished furniture. Assembly itself confirms the overall impression: this is built to look substantial online, not to be substantial in reality. Between: • poor materials, • visible hardware, • questionable design decisions, and • multiple damaged components right out of the box, this simply does not justify the price — especially considering this is not a budget option. I wanted to like this. The concept is great, and the layout works well for a kid’s room. But execution matters, and unfortunately the quality, construction, and condition fall far short of what the price suggests. If you’re considering this bed, I’d strongly recommend looking at alternatives or seeing it in person first.

Delivery came in 3 large boxes that weighed about 100lbs each. All three boxes arrived with holes in them from the delivery. By the time everything was taken out of the boxes to check for damage, there was no possible way to get the pieces back in the box the same way it came. We found multiple pieces that were broken, dented, and one of the doors is badly scratched (forgot to take a photo of it). Because we got this for our son’s birthday on Tuesday, there’s no time to make any changes. There were about 10 pieces that were missing the sticker so it turned into a guessing game of which piece went where. The instructions were “okay” but I feel could be a little more detailed, especially in the sections where a lot of pieces come together. Overall, it took about 9 hours to put this together and I’m pretty good at assembling things. It seems sturdy and he loves it, which is all that matters! He’s current sound asleep in it right now!

Absolutely worth every penny!! Love it! Built with very sturdy material!

Not a review on the bed as I haven’t assembled it yet but I had a terrible time getting it. Had to have it sent on two occasions. They use Fed Ex to ship and this company is so incompetent. Wayfair didn’t do much to help after they realized the shipping mistake. Also, the boxes I did finally end up receiving were damaged and the bed was exposed.
