Exactly what I needed for my grandkids!

This bunk bed is VERY poor quality. We have had it just six months with our eight year old daughter sleeping in it and it creaks and groans with every single movement on the top bunk. It also moves and shakes when our daughter (who weighs only 60 pounds) climbs in to it. Moreover, she was lying on the trundle two nights ago when a piece of the wood just broke off. We had this piece assembled by a contractor who works for us routinely. We will be throwing this bed away and having to buy a new one.

We bought this 2 years ago to use for a guest room, especially when multiple kids stay over. It’s terrible! Dont buy! The assembly took about 6 hrs with an electric screwdriver (mostly by myself with help from husband when needed). The wood had dents in the pieces that are visible. The upper bunk bearly holds the weight of a 10 year old but nobody can sleep there because it’s incredibly wobbly (despite everything being screwed in tight and adjusted several times). The whole connection between the upper and lower bunk is through 4 steal rods about 3-4 inches long that are not secured (the upper bunk essentially just slides in and sits on these 4 rods, with the ladder being the only thing that actually secures it in place). The lower bunk needed new slats to be added because the ones it came with were too far apart so the mattress was sagging. A complete waste of money! I’m so upset about the almost 800 i spent for this that i waited 2 years to leave this review. This bed has not been sold on Wayfair in 2 years, so i couldnt review immediately, but kept coming back until now.

It took my husband just a few hours to put it together. I did have to help him lift the twin on top of the full so that it sat correctly on the hardware. It is pretty sturdy but not real wood.

It looks great but I have had it less than a year and it's falling apart. The bolts in the sides do not want to stay in. I don't know how to fix it to make it sturdy. I'm very disappointed that his bed only stayed secure for 2-3 months. Now, the bolts are not staying in the particle board. I think my only option after 12 mos is to dispose of it and get something different. I'm very disappointed.
