The assembly for this bed was an absolute nightmare. Several pieces were miss drilled (the holes or notches were on the opposite side of the pieces). At first, we just thought that they were mislabeled, but then when we tried swapping them, they created a bigger problem. My husband ended up having to drill new holes, leaving the incorrectly located holes visible.
The pre drilled holes werent always straight or deep en ugh. Hubby stripped out a few of the bolts, that werent fully in, so they wouldnt advance all the way and couldnt even remove them.
The underlying support beam, in the middle of the bottom bed has very flimsy legs, and you cannot scoot the bed once its assembled, without those bending and falling out of place (and I imagine they will snap once someone lays down).
The ladder sort of hangs and doesnt fully touch the ground so Im looking for a solution to put under the bottom.
Unfortunately, we bought this bed a while ago and then had it shipped to an Airbnb in another state. It wasnt feasible to pack it back up and return it or we would have!!
I highly recommend that you do not buy this bed and save yourself the trouble. We battled this thing for an entire day. Buyers remorse like crazy!
