very nice bed. Seems very sturdy. We added some no slip rugs for steps and self adhesive tape lights on the side. my soon to be 10 year old loves it.

We were super excited to get our little one a bed that would let her have sleepovers with cousins and maybe even let her sibling share a room with her one day. Unfortunately, this bed was not the pick for us. The holes for pegs didn't line up, it came with white rub marks on the finish straight out of the box, and was not as sturdy as we wanted for the trundle - it included only 7 slats for the trundle support as opposed to the 14 for the main beds. We'll be making more of our own and refinishing the Espresso if we keep it. White would have been a better choice in hindsight. The stairs are a great idea for safer access and extra book shelves are a great component though.

One hole wasn’t pre-drilled and the wood cracked when the hole was manually drilled by the assembler. He was able to make it very secure and sturdy, though. It is a very pretty bed. Great for small children on the top bunk and even adults on the bottom bunk. I love it very much!

Terrible. Wood cracks easy, they did not finish some holes that are intended for the screws, the long screws are too long so they won’t go in all the way. The instructions are terrible.
