We loved it at first---but I write this closing in on a year after purchase and DO NOT BUY FOR CHILDREN.
Our sons are 8 and 10 years old and this bed started losing screws, bolts and parts almost within days. Thinking nothing of it and putting the pieces back, reinforcing the nuts and bolts and screws still did nothing This metal bed is not safe nor suitable for children.
The plastic parts that serve as the spine of the beds did not ever extend fully onto the meta bar and eventually popped right off (nowhere to be found) Please see images of my floor, the screws loosening up on the top bunk, totally missing screw supporting the corner of the bottom bunk,
At the risk of saying children destroy things with regular wear and tear I thought for sure this bed would last a bit longer. It also MESSED up my hardwood floors because as the kids get on and off the bed it moves and they move it back into place. Sigh, this bed seemed like a good idea at the time, uneven spacing created by missing screws. I will not be allowing my children to sleep on this bed tonight. Its far too dangerous. Thanks for reading.
