Great size and fits loads of books. We're using it in a toddler room, but can see it also in a dorm room or post-college apartment. Overall sturdy, but is made of particle board (which is exposed on the backside of the bookshelf) so avoid water at all costs which will warp the surface (ie water glass/bottle at bedside). The orange stickers provided to put on top of the screw holes doesn't match and makes it look cheaper than it is.
