I absolutely love it and more important, my baby loves it too ! She can now grab any book or toy she wants independently and everything is at the same place - all organized. It was easy to build and it arrived very quickly with FedEx.

Potential choking hazard - please reconsider if you have a young baby. I would strongly recommend reconsidering this bookshelf if you have a young baby, especially if your child is at the developmental stage where they love playing the open-shut game with doors. My 12-month-old loves opening and closing the door on this bookshelf. He does not do it forcefully, he simply opens and closes it repeatedly. Unfortunately, after only one week of use, the screws securing one of the door hinges came loose and fell out. The bookshelf is made of MDF, and the material isn’t strong enough for the screws to maintain a secure hold with repeated use. I’m so glad that I noticed the loose screws before my baby found them, because a loose screw within a babys reach could potentially become a serious choking hazard. This is especially concerning for a piece of furniture marketed for children. A manufacturer designing children’s furniture should take into account that young children will naturally open and close doors repeatedly, and the hardware should be secure enough to withstand normal use. I will be returning this bookshelf because I no longer feel comfortable having it around my child. If you have a young baby or toddler, especially one who likes opening and closing doors, please think carefully before purchasing this bookshelf. I would not want another parent to have the same experience and not notice the loose screws in time.

This book case is a nice combination of sturdy and yet a nice piece of furniture for our office

Cute shelf! Seems sturdy. The screws to attach the door to the wood were kind of a pain to get through but other than that, assembly was straightforward and only took me maybe an hour.

Love it! It looks great in my granddaughter’s room! It fits all her books and now the dog can’t chew them… it’s perfect for her room
