They were a little fun to assemble but we managed and they look great

Once its all assembled, its a good bed. We were concerned that the metal frame might make it noisy, but we havent had an issue with that. Be very careful when you assemble it... Were usually pretty good at this, but found the diagrams to be difficult to follow - especially the step when you attach the bottom head and foot bar to the tall corner pieces... We installed those 2 bars the wrong way - twice - and taking everything apart to fix them was a project. Also, very small screws were used to attach the metal bars to the wood head and foot boards - those screws pulled out of the wood, and we had to replace them with larger screws that we had on hand. But still - a good bed.
