This took my husband and his friend seven hours to put together. These stairs are also very spread out and difficult for children to reach. They are spread out 12” each. We are going to have to add another step or a slide or something because our kid cannot get out of the bed by herself. The bed also is massive and takes up a lot more space than we thought. The description does not provide enough dimensions for the bed. We thought about returning it, but the fact that we would have to take it apart, dissuaded us. The bed is also not all solid wood. There are parts of it that are made of solid wood, but many of the components are flexible board.
