Once washed twice, the bedding is soft. Was a bit stiff upon unwrapping. Bedding is made to last. Love the design for the perfect theme.

When opening the package the quilt set is nice, the material quality is good and the vibrancy of the colors totally makes the room pop but after just ONE (1) WASH - quilt was washed under delicate and in cold water - it now looks like an old old quilt. Colors completely faded and the material is now really rough. If you want a quilt that is easy to wash and keeps its colors, this is not the quilt for a kids room but rather more of a showroom. In any case, this pretty expensive quilt is going to be hand down to the pups.
