Beautiful bed with some lower quality parts. Sturdy enough for what we need and we like that it’s low for our young kids.

It’s a decent bed, just a bit of trouble to put together. The steps 4 and 5 in the instructions had subparts that were swapped which led to some confusion initially but otherwise most of the material is good. Some of the support planks weren’t planed well and had some warping, but that’s a bit to be expected with real raw wood. Assembly will require power tools!! The lack of pre-drilled holes can be a bit challenging and confusing at first. But otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend trying to just use a hand driver. It took me alone two days and some hefty calluses to put the majority together without powers tools and I just wouldn’t recommend it. The other thing to note is, the top bunk mattress has a limit of 6” height which was a bit challenging to find a good quality fit for (as most mattresses are default 8” where I’m at), and there’s some extra space still at head and footboard of the 74 1/2” mattress I got for it, but if you’re willing to special order something or maybe add a diy roll board, that isn’t a deal breaker. Overall a decent piece, it just had its quirks upon buying it
