I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but decided on 4 because the desk, overall, is nice and serves our purposes well. Mine arrived in a package that was pretty beat up, so I feared I would have a lot of chipped and broken pieces, but the pieces were so solid that I only saw a couple minor scratches and one busted drawer. I tried to get the drawer replaced and haven't succeeded yet. The first replacement I ordered never arrived, and the shipping company said the tracking number didn't exist. I finally got a second replacement ordered, and it was the drawer for the wrong side. Though they look the same and have the same part number, apparently there is a couple centimeters difference on the outer panel, so they are not interchangeable. I may just end up gluing the original drawer together instead of dealing with customer service again. Finally, as others have said, the assembly instructions were incorrect in many places, which made it take an extra long time to put together. Thankfully, all the needed hardware was there in the correct amounts, it was just a puzzle to figure out where it all actually went, because it was definitely NOT what the instructions said. I'm including a picture of the instructions with my corrections in case it helps anyone in the future!

Great desk! It’s sturdy, looks nice, and was easy to assemble. My child loves it and has been excited to use it every day. We’re very happy with this purchase!

This desk is really nice, lots of shelves and storage. The directions are not straightforward and you have to be careful about over tighten as it damages the surface.

DO NOT BUY. I’m unbelievably disappointed in this purchase - the instructions were incorrect. I spent two hours working on the first step only to understand that the instructions themselves were wrong. When I called Wayfair, they would not accept a return (it’s passed 30 days) and they could not comp someone to come out and assemble it for me. The ONLY option was to send out a replacement part and new instructions. Update the attached photo shows an additional error in how the holes were drilled. This has been a horrible experience.
