works for the few times we have family over and need to separate their dog from our cats. It does take more than 10 mins to put up everytime, but we use it so infrequently its just part of "getting ready" to have company over.

This gate is well made and sturdy. My 3.5 year old who is extra tall and in size 5T is not able to open or climb over it. We appreciate the peace of mind provided by this sturdy gate in helping keep our son safe.
