The bed is strong and beautiful and my daughter loved it. There was this one screw hole that is not aligned with its part and I have left it without a screw and not a thing to bother me. The ladder does not sit on the floor property, I have put rug under it and it is fine. I am not sure if my floor has something to do with it. Assembly is easy with power tool. Overall it is a good bed. Since it is all metal, my kids have decorated it with megnatic blocks. It is fun. The bed has a lot of space under it and definitely helps hiding suit cases or anything for that matter.
