Very cute! Very sturdy. Seems like it will last a very long time! My kid loves it, and can’t wait until the mattress arrives to try sleeping in it.
I was unprepared for the number of heavy boxes delivered, but they were packaged very well. (Hint: the instructions emailed by Wayfair tell you the order to open the boxes. DON’T open all the boxes searching for the directions! They aren’t included.)
Lost a star due to how incredibly difficult it was to put together (and I’m good at putting things like this together). The instructions are hard to understand - pictures with no words, parts bags are not labeled, and the instructions were just plain wrong on multiple occasions, asking me to do something I had no pieces for. The instructions I was sent were literally for a different bed, and I had to improvise several times. I still don’t know how the drawer/shelf assembly was supposed to be attached to the bed, and I have extra pieces that go...? If you have the option to get it put together for you, I highly recommend it.
Other little quibbles: the drawers aren’t removable and don’t open very far, the bottom drawer of the stairs rides on the carpet (the little casters keep getting stuck in our carpet), and the desk surface isn’t anything special and scratches easy (get a desk protector). Also, there’s a large, empty space behind the shelves where my kid has already lost a toy. It needs a backing (which the institute showed, but was not included?).
Otherwise a great bed, and worth the investment. :)
