bed is true to color , very fragile , the plastic pieces used to assemble the wooden slats and the slats them selves , be a little hard and it will easily break , height was as described , if your mattress is 12 inch like mine you'll be 21 inch from the floor ,which is not exactly a low profile bed , if thats what you're looking for .
