Pieces missing for the trundle bed underneath but I ended up not using it anyways. My daughter lives it.

terrible odor and cheap

Ty he kids love it! It’s a solid bed, took me awhile to put together (but not impossible). Instructions were okay. Still managed. Hoping this last for awhile with the kids growing and starting to have friends staying over.

I decided to get this bed for my daughters. Upon receipt. The boxes where damaged but I remained optimistic. Opened the boxes and almost immediately noticed damaged parts. There were cracks. Dents, chips in the wood and paint. Very disappointing because it really is such a cute piece of furniture. But it is not very thick. Does not feel sturdy. Also not sure how this will hold up yet since I was also missing parts that customer service is supposed to be sending me and putting in the mail. It’s only taken 3 days to arrange this and i still don’t have a shipping number. It is very upsetting especially because this wasn’t cheap. But I feel like every other piece I picked up had significant damage. The cracked ones scare me the most because how long until the cracks expand and then snap. It says on there it holds 400 lbs but I don’t know that I trust that. My daughter is about 110 lbs and the wood kind of bends when she steps on the steps. Unfortunately I would not recommend. Especially for the price. I have purchased from Wayfair before and this honestly is my only negative experience. I do get it things get dinged up during shipping but the pieces were literally floating around inside the box. You could tell it was definitely not packaged correctly. But ontop of that some pieces were not carved correctly especially where the hardware went in. I consider myself to be a handy person and because the hardware slots were not carved correctly it made building this bed that much more difficult. Also most of the pieces that were damaged you could tell were attempted to be fixed. There was some caulking on it and then painted over. I am just appalled at how this was even allowed to pass inspection. I have attached some pics for referenc.
