We’re really happy with the bed. A little harder to assemble, but not too terrible. It feels very sturdy and looks great.

This bed is incredible. It helped to convince my son to sleep on his own because it’s so fun. It’s also very sturdy. I put a queen mattress on the floor and sleep with my baby while my son is on top. Works perfectly.

This is a good quality, sturdy, and mostly well made bed. My biggest concern when unboxing the pieces was what appeared to be white mold. I tried cleaning it off of one of the pieces and it wouldn't come off. Upon further inspection of the rest of the pieces, there was evidence that it's some kind of finishing coat that was used. Once it's fully assembled, it's not noticeable. It took about 6 hours to fully assemble (less than 30 minutes of that time was installing extras: loft curtains and led lighting). I'm slightly concerned with the boards used under the mattress since some twin beds come with 15 and this was just about half that. I feel a full 15 would be better. I opted for a 5" hybrid spring mattress for that reason so my child would be better supported (instead of a memory foam). It was fairly simple to assemble. The instructions are all illustrations (not written), so it's imperative to pay very close attention to all details. All in all, I would recommend this if you have the patience and can handle either hiring someone or dedicating a full 6 hours to unboxing and assembling. I did use an electric screwdriver for most of it, though there were about 5 bolts that needed hand tightening on the handrail because of the tight space.
