A baby gate is just something you have to have. They work or they don’t work. The only downside is the amount of space that it takes up when the gate is being left open which for us is 43” We have doors on both sides of the gates so if the gate is left open in either direction you slam into it with the door. The gate is working perfectly as a barrier off our deck for our two English Cockers. I’m only giving it 4* because the gate is flimsy and won’t close on its own.
