I bought this for my elderly mom who is having trouble sitting up straight in her chair. She's been leaning to the left, and the armrest is low enough that it exacerbates her issues. I'd bought other square pillows to shove into the chair next to her, and they were all too soft despite being labeled firm. This fella is FIRM!! He's the perfect size to wedge into the chair, deep enough not to slide behind her, tall enough to let her lean on it, stiff enough not to give way at all!
