This dresser is really nice. It took four hours to put together with one person doing it. The fact that it has so many drawers was the reason for taking longer. We really like this dresser and changing topper overall. It looks beautiful in our daughter’s nursery and fits perfectly with the decor. Assembly was straightforward, and the size is great for storing baby clothes and essentials. The only downside is that the drawers feel a bit loose and don’t seem to be the highest quality. They work, but they don’t slide as smoothly or feel as sturdy as we had hoped. Often, these higher quality solid wood pieces tend to have an ivory type color to them and it’s been a struggle finding a true white-this is it! You get what you pay for… this dresser is described as solid pine wood so you’d think it would be solid and sturdy. Once fully assembled it is sturdy given its boxy frame however the wood pieces are questionable on their own. It took two adults about 2 hours to fully assemble this dresser. Mostly because putting the drawers together was exhausting. We gave up at the point of the removable changing topper because we were tired and just never got around to adding it.
