Such an amazing lift bed…. Super comfortable for my pre-teen, and it’s even more stable and sturdy than anticipated. My biggest concern is that it would shake or move when she would climb to the top, and it is a big solid piece. It makes her room look bigger as it makes space for her that she didn’t have with a regular full sized bed. My only disappointment is that it looks taller in the photo in the underneath side of the loft where the desk portion is. My daughter who is ten (needs to duck and use a bean bag chair as she cannot sit on a normal sized chair as it is extremely low underneath (however this leaves ample room for her when she is in the top position in the bed). It took 8 12 hours for one person to build this loft bed (and compared to my other daughters loft bed which we also purchased at Wayfair at the same time as this one this loft beds instructions for assembly was a lot more confusing and disorganized) but it was still worth it once put together! 45 stars. Updated Review - the manufacturer reached out regarding the defects and has made a commitment to make it right. The bed itself barring the obvious damage on arrival went together okay. It was a time consuming build, and the instructions werent as clear as they could have been. I had a ticketed carpenter friend assist in the build and it still took about 4 hours. Set aside the time.
