The material is very soft, and not too heavy for summer weather we are having. It goes nicely with some new pillowcases I recently purchased, and the fact that it is reversible is a real plus!

4 months and has not held up well at all. I wash it every other week or so. It has little holes in it and loose threads. Going to replace it.
