Standard is the right word for this. I was a bit disappointed with both the feel of the fabric and the weight of the quilt. It's pretty much as flat as a pancake, even after I put it in the dryer to fluff it up. The fabric is stiff.

this is great. My 9 year old son wanted a puffy comforter. It's not too heavyweight - wanted something lighter for warmer seasons. Cotton cover is soft and seems durable. Very happy with this and so is my son.
