I get all of the extra cushion and support on painful areas that I’ve been craving, too! It’s very porous, so breathability seems like it won’t be an issue for us. It’s foam, so you have to be gentle with it, but I don’t find it to be more fragile than anything else on the market. Finally, yes it absolutely comes with a smell. However, the smell is consistent with other products that will dissipate after 48 hours of airing it out. It’s a personal problem, but finding somewhere to put it where it can air out with a toddler and a dog is something to consider, too! Overall, I’d give it 4.5 stars, but couldn’t do a half rating here.

I notice softer mattresses can irritate my low back. But I slept really comfortably till I woke up! The quality is good and I would replace with one more firm.
