Took it out of the package and washed it in our large capacity machine. The filling is so thin that it disappeared in most spots and then clumped in three places. This is not remotely worth the cost. 

Update: the material on these comforters was so thin, both of ours ripped within months. Pretty, comfortable but not at all durable. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy these are and perfect for our girls room however the brand info was incorrect. The brand we received is Lauren Taylor. Despite the apparent error, we received the product as described and the girls are very happy with their new bedding.
