I had this model bed before and the original mattress got bad after seven years so I replaced it and this one seems to be worse for my back. I wake up in pain. It's definitely different. I don't understand what happened to helix.

Mattress thinner than previous. Hence fitted sheet cones loose every night. Not sure why it’s 1-2 inches shorter than our original.

The mattress is amazing! I am a stomach sleeper, and it is perfect. With my old mattress and boxspring, I woke up each morning in pain. The first night on my Helix was comfortable and pain-free.

Great bed overall. We had a 10 year old Tempur-Pedic and wanted something with a little more support. The hybrid mattress was the way to go. I am a bigger guy and have traditionally been a side or stomach sleeper, but the extra support allows me to sleep comfortably on my back. The top has the appropriate softness where it melds around you but the springs provide enough support where you still lie on top of the mattress. It has enough cushion where I also don't get sore hips or shoulders if I do sleep on my side. My low back pain has much improved since switching. We did get the extra cooling layer. I can't say that I notice a difference my temperature in this bed compared to my 100% foam Tempur-Pedic. My wife and I can notice each other move a little bit, but it's not profound. I would say the motion reduction is better than our Tempur-Pedic when it got old, but not as good as when it was brand new. We had considered the Helix Plus for The bed took a good week to fully expand, and it was a little firm until then. Delivery was easy. Set up of the base was easy. I was able to do it all by myself, but the mattress is quite heavy, so I would recommend two people or to get the install for most customers.
