I like the color on the size and decided to keep it, although the lid does not sit straight and there is a very small dent in the front of it from the moment I opened it from the package.

These cans are well made and exactly what I wanted. It’s been hard to find things in Brass. Looks like brass is making a comeback!

This is a light weight trash can, as the metal material is thin. The finish is more yellow brass than gold compared to the photo and almost has a greenish hue to it. So unfortunately it doesn't match the gold hardware we have elsewhere. It's functional, and the lift out handle would be covered by any liner bag so the handle is only useful if you use it without a liner. The step and soft close mechanism works as expected.
