Soft but does not look smooth and neat. No matter how o adjust the cover, it always looks messy.

Soft texture, comfortable underside to the cover. Colour is exactly as advertised and the shams are a perfect fit. Removed a star because the cover runs large for my King comforter. I tried washing and drying it to shrink but no luck. It has ties inside (only good if your comforter has the same).
