This is a very soft and nice duvet. One of the reviews said it was thinner than they thought. I think it's fine because my down comforter that it covers is already so heavy and warm.

Beautiful set, but absolutely NOT king size - queen size at best.

Good weight. Very soft. Has not matted when washed like others I’ve had of similar texture. Minimal shedding in dryer.

This is a very nice Duvet cover however it is no where near a King size. The label says King, the package said King and I ordered a King but it is too small. Our King size comforter is bunched up inside of it and it does not hang over the edge of our bed. We have a standard King size bed and this duvet cover in King size is about the size of a queen. Other than size it is a beautiful and soft duvet cover.
