About five minutes into putting this mattress protector on the bed my toddler split food on it. Thankfully, it wiped off easily with no damage to the mattress below. I don’t know how clear it is from the photo, but the sides are mesh- making it perfect for toddler jumps. As for the sound, it’s minimal. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one surprised me. It fit my mattress perfectly with no struggle, and it doesn’t make that annoying plastic crinkling sound every time you move. It’s soft enough that you honestly forget it’s even there. I’ve already had a couple of accidental spills and nothing soaked through, which is exactly why I bought it.
