Wish I could give this 4 stars at least, but it just falls short in a few minor ways that add up. First, when it arrived, it smelled atrocious. No big deal, throw it in the wash as you should. When it comes out of the wash, it's much less soft and stiff as a board. Odd to me, especially for 100% cotton. Nevermind, I love the pattern, and I'm sure it'll soften up over time. As I'm making the bed, I notice right away several spots where threads are starting to come off the sheets. I washed it on a delicate cycle. I notice some spots that appear to be blotches in ink on the pattern; not a big deal, but still odd and annoying.
My BIGGEST issue is the size of the flat sheet, which I know sounds strange, but hear me out. I have a mattress that is not tall in the slightest, about 7 inches in height. The fitted sheet fit great, no issue at all. But why is the flat sheet so short in width? It doesn't cover my full bed with enough width to tuck it into the sides. It's so strange to me! I've never had this issue with any other full size sheet sets I've ordered, and I don't understand why the fitted sheet and pillow cases are perfect in size but the flat sheet is so small. Maybe I should've checked the measurements as the flat sheet appears to be a full 30 inches shorter in width than the fitted sheet, but the fact that I have such a short mattress and I cannot tuck the sides of the flat sheet in is bizarre to me. Maybe if you have a tiny mattress this will work, but I've never had a sheet set where my advice might be to size up.
