The pillow was packaged in a box and then shrink wrapped down in plastic. However, there was dark staining and discoloration on the outside of the pillow that seaport beneath the outside pillowcase and onto the pillow itself. I washed the outside case two times. I am satisfied that this is clean and safe to sleep on. However, it is unknown with that substance is and how it penetrated the packaging. The pillow itself is fine. It is very big. I removed a lot of the stuffing to create a thinner pillow to fit my preferences. I like that you can remove our add stuffing to fit your preference.

This is a really nice pillow and I like that they gave me extra filling to customize the height & support of the pillow. It came nicely packed. I haven't slept on the pillow yet but it seems exactly like I was expecting, so it should be good. I gave 4 stars as it is a bit on the heavier side and that can be a bit of a bother as I like to flip my pillow around while sleeping and if it is heavy, I tend to wake up more.

I love this pillow! Its got amazing support and so comfortable. I tend to get headaches if a pillow has poor support. But, this pillow is perfect and I wake up headache free. I love that its adjustable to your preferences. I would recommend this product.
