Not as flat as I like my pillows so based on other reviews I can only hope it gets flatter. But it’s very soft.

These had the right amount of cushioning, lift, and support, but the issue I had was the fabric surrounding the pillow. It was so stiff that each time you move, the pillow makes so much noise -- even when covered by a cozy pillowcase. Unfortunate, but the fabric didn't seem like it would soften so I returned these.
