Heated Mattress Pad

This Sealy heated mattress pad is a wonderful addition to a bed where the person needs more warmth while they sleep. It has deep corner pockets big enough to stretch over 22 inches of mattress. Stays in place and doesn’t pop off during the night. We put it under the regular mattress pad on the bed. Each side of the bed has its own control for their desired temperature. This mattress pad is working so far. The California King size fits on our mattress without struggle. My only criticisms are that the cord between the pad and the controller could be a bit longer, and when you turn it off the controller doesn’t light up, so if you somehow miss the button you have no way of knowing until you wake up in a sweat.

This heated mattress pad does not work consistently. It is hit and miss. It also did not come with instructions. You would think a major mattress company would make a good one. So disappointed.

Well, the only down side is that Jake (the dog) will not leave my bed when its preheated. The temperature ranges from barely-warmed to heating-pad-on-high and if you have back pain and live on your heating pad like I do its a godsend. The control is really unobtrusive and sits on the nightstand without falling off easily or anything, thanks to some little rubber feet.

I couldn't give this item more than three stars. Fit and comfort is fine, but because of the lack of a continuous power on indicator light it loses two stars. It is possible that the heating pad could be accidentally turned on or left on and no one would know the difference until the bed was physically checked.
