I grew up sleeping on a waveless hard side waterbed, and as an adult haven't been sleeping well the past 10 years. I've tried different mattresses, but always wake up with neck and lower back pain. I was really excited to try a softside waterbed, as a have a really nice bed frame with a tall headboard, so to be able to use a "regular" mattress look was appealing. Since my headboard is 65" tall, I was hoping to get a tall waterbed mattress so that it would look proportional to my headboard. Product Description does not match actual product. Reading what this is, you would think it would be a 12" tall waterbed mattress thickness. it's only 6". The foam rails are only 6" deep, so when you put this together, you only have a 6" mattress thickness, which is a little thinner and makes your mattress sit lower to the ground, not higher. I was really hoping for a taller mattress. I was super disappointed with this purchase with the overall experience. Ordered this on October 8th, the delivery was late. It was missing 2 components, which delayed the actual use of the bed. Wayfair was really good at issuing replacement parts, however, it was going to take an additional 7 days to received. I decided it was not worth waiting an extra week and I decided to return the item and find one that is actually the deepness I wanted.
