It is ok. It is darker than it appears. The gold wrap around the base is a bit crooked. And there is a glitch in the rim of the soap bowl that could catch fabric. Fortunately it is for soap. My husband likes it, but I would have returned it.

Perfect size to use in the kitchen - loved the combo of metals.

It's a real beauty and also easy to use, better than I thought actually. On the picture, the top seems a slight ish green color, which I really liked, as it contrasts the gold quite nicely. When I received it though, I realized it's grey not a slight green. Just a thought for the manufacturer, if there is a chance to add a slight hue of green color on the top soap holder dish metal, it would make the design even nicer in my opinion. I am still very happy with the purchase though. Don't know how it handles rust, as I haven't used it long enough, but I will keep an eye on it. Design wise, it's definitely a 4.5 out 5. If it had the green hue, it would have been exquisite. It needs to be placed such that you can see the gold detailed neck. At the end of the day, it's a soap dish and it does just that.
