The framework itself was beautiful when you opened it up. The only thing you had to do was attached to legs. As far as working it operates beautifully. We love it since the day we put it in we went with a 14 inch mattress on top of it because we wanted a little bit more cushion with the foam and it raised the bed up about 2 1/2 inches so it was easier for us at our age to slide out of bed instead of sitting up and standing up overall very good quality for the purchase

Seems 3rd party vendors aren’t vetted. And permitted to sell items which are not as advertised. Item was clearly advertised/described as a single piece king size adjustable base, split head independent movement and synced feet movement ("independent head elevation..synced foot..."). Instead, received one twin size adjustable base. On two separate reorder attempts was only ever sent a single twin size adjustable base. Do NOT order this item. Total SCAM. Told Joss & Main / Wayfair about my experience, they did not offer an explanation nor proper solution (only refund while my mattress remains on the floor!) which is why I’m leaving this review to save anyone else from this headache.

Wish I could give it no stars… Do not buy this!!!!!!!!!! Ordered a king, got a twin xl and wayfair is refusing to send me a) another twin xl or b) an actual king.. so now I’m literally have a mattress just chillin on the floor and I’m out an ungodly amount of cash… run run run. And seriously wayfair- do better
