2) cover failure associated with defective materials or faulty craftmanship, The manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser, that this mattress will provide use, free from defects in craftsmanship and materials, for a period of ten years (10 years) from the initial date of purchase. For warranty purposes, "defective" is defined as 1) a mattress core exhibiting separation of the laminated components, 3) an area of compression in excess of 1.5" when compared with edge height when the mattress is placed on a solid, flat surface. (Body impressions less than 1.5 inches are normal and not covered by the warranty, but impressions greater than 1.5 inches are covered by this warranty.) If the mattress is found defective within ten years of the initial date of purchase, the manufacturer will, at its sole option, repair or replace it with a new one without charge, exclusive of shipping and handling. Nonnal conditions of use this mattress is designed to be used on a solid deck bed or platform. Use of the mattress on slats or a foundation with insufficient support may damage your mattress and void your warranty. The mattress should be spot-cleaned only. Some mattresses include a zipper that is used for manufacturing purposes. Do not remove the cover from your mattress. All mattresses have a protective inner cover or materials necessary to meet federal safety and flammability standards. Removal of the cover may damage this protective inner barrier and will void your warranty. For your safety, the mattress must never be used without the cover in place. The mattress must be protected from physical damage. Mechanical tearing, puncturing, cutting, or abrading will invalidate the warranty. The use of mattresses with covers that are soiled, damaged, or excessively worn is not recommended and will also void your warranty. Because each individual is unique, we cannot warranty comfort or sleep quality. We strive to provide the best value in the industry and hope our mattress suits your individual needs. It is normal for mattress material to become "softer" during use. It is also normal for the mattress to develop a faster deflection recovery rate. This change over time with normal wear does not qualify as a product defect. Repair or replacement of the mattress or foundation does not extend this warranty or begin a new warranty period. When making a claim against this Warranty, you will be required to produce photo evidence and an acceptable copy of your original proof of purchase or receipt. If the original purchaser sells the mattress, the warranty is void. This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of any other warranty, representation, indemnity, or guarantee whether expressed or implied, oral or written, arising by law, custom, or prior policy made or offered by the manufacture, its dealers, representatives, or employees. Freight cost to and from the authorized repair facility is the responsibility of the mattress owner. Purchaser acknowledges, by placing this mattress into use, that this warranty specifically excludes claims for incidental damages or loss and is valid only to the original purchaser. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
