This background is not close to any shade of tan/cream - it is brown. If you want a brown pillow this will be perfect for you.

This is HUGE, a lot bigger than I thought. It fits perfectly over a larger size throw pillow. I think it is called a European size sham...We have a big couch and big pillows, this matches and I love the stars and the quilting. It is very well put together. Very Americana. Very heavy fabric and it looks like it will stand up to the use it will get. Ties in the back are also strong. Definitely recommended.
