There is NO insert or dividers inside this unit to keep the toothbrushes standing upright or apart from each other. As a result the toothbrushes lean sideways with their bristles touching each other and you have to put the lid on at a sideways angle to get lid seated on top of the toothbrushes. Amazed that at this price, there is nothing inside to hold the toothbrushes. The $30 OXO good grips covered toothbrush holder has an insert inside to hold the toothbrushes!
