Well designed & well made, with a subtle textural element that they call "embroidery," but it's not at all frilly or delicate; it would work well in a very masculine bedroom, and it also looks great in my more feminine one. It has 3 layers (like a quilt), but the batting in the middle is quite thin, so the result is a beautiful but lightweight coverlet, which is just what I was looking for. Love the quilt the look and the weight. Just what I needed to make my guest room not feminine for when my son is here. What I don’t like is, as other reviews stated after just one wash it pilled up on the decorated side. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was the other side.
